I saw a 5yrs old smiling; he was begging; saw some kids in rags in the month of January (which records lowest of the temperatures in our country) traveling in the airy chambers of the local trains in the wee hrs, smiling…

People rightly say that smile is a simple expression and it costs nothing. But I found it contrasting when I saw pompous, well-to-do people, cribbing and wearing phony smiles on their radiant faces. Needing something called as the ‘laughter clubs’ and then I realized that that is the irony of nature that it (smile) doesn’t needs any cost.

Smile isn’t merely an expression of joy it’s a remedy for gloominess, tension, which serves slavishly as carriers to various ailments. But it seems as if in today’s world the most difficult thing is to smile, as we see so much of violence, delinquency, & disgruntlement.

The Almighty has sanctified the human race by blessing them with the ability to smile. A simple heart & humanity is the cost for this pleasure. We should treat people as what they are; as individuals not as Hindu, Muslim, Jewish, Christian, or Pakistani, American, rich, poor, or congressmen, BJPian & so on.

Smile is a hope! Somebody like Isabelle Diniore must have felt the importance of smile, who lost her nose, lips and chin when her Labrador bit her last year, and recently she got these back undergoing a painful partial facial transplant.

These are all simple things that we all know and must have noticed too, but what we need is, to give attention to the fact that smile isn’t free Simplicity and innocence are pre-requisitions for that.

An unsung Urdu poet must have understood the importance of smile and therefore said

Ya to Diwana hanse, ya Tu jise taufik de,

Varna is dunia mein koi muskura sakta hai kya

So I would request every reader to smile and shine. It’s a curve that sets every thing right…!
